AI ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

This AI Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the artificial intelligence features within the Spanner platform (the “Service”) operated by:

(“Kable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).


This Policy forms part of and is incorporated into the Spanner Terms and Conditions. By engaging with the Service, you agree to have read and understood the terms of the Policy as stated below. 


1. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY


Spanner is an AI-powered platform that enables users to generate software applications through natural language prompts.

Because this capability allows creation of powerful and potentially harmful software, this Policy establishes rules to ensure safe, lawful, and ethical use of the Service.


2. GENERAL USER RESPONSIBILITY


You are solely responsible for:


• All prompts submitted to the AI
• All software generated using the Service
• How generated applications are deployed or distributed
• Knowledge of, and compliance with, applicable laws and regulations


Kable does not monitor all generated outputs and does not assume responsibility or liability for user-created software. You are solely responsible for the are liability associated with the unlawful and / or prohibited uses of the Service, and you agree to indemnify and save harmless Kable, its directors, and assigns, from all claims arising from any unlawful and / or prohibited use of the Service.




3. PROHIBITED USES


You may not use the Service to create, assist in creating, or distribute applications that involve any of the following activities, which list is inclusive but not limited to prohibited uses of the Service which may arise under the law.


3.1 Illegal Activities


Including but not limited to:

• Violating any laws or regulations
• Facilitating criminal activity
• Creating tools for illegal conduct
• Bypassing legal safeguards

• Infringing property rights


3.2 Malware and Cybersecurity Threats


You may not generate:

• Malware, spyware, ransomware, or viruses
• Exploitation tools
• Hacking software
• Unauthorized data extraction tools
• Tools designed to bypass security controls


3.3 Financial Exploitation and Fraud


You may not create applications intended to:

• Conduct scams
• Manipulate financial markets unlawfully
• Facilitate fraud or identity theft
• Create deceptive financial tools
• Automate phishing activities


3.4 Harmful Surveillance and Privacy Violations


You may not generate software designed to:

• Monitor individuals without consent
• Collect private data unlawfully
• Track users covertly
• Conduct facial recognition for harmful purposes


3.5 Personal Data Exploitation


You may not create applications that:

• Harvest personal data without consent
• Expose private information
• Conduct doxxing or profiling
• Facilitate stalking or harassment

• Otherwise violate provincial or federal privacy laws


3.6 Discrimination and Harmful Content


You may not create software that:

• Promotes hate or discrimination
• Enables targeted harassment
• Facilitates exclusion based on protected characteristics


3.7 Unsafe Critical Systems


You may not use the Service to create applications intended for:

• Medical diagnosis or treatment decisions
• Aviation or transportation control
• Industrial control systems
• Critical infrastructure management unless compliant with applicable safety regulations and other legal and regulatory standards or requirements, as may apply. 


3.8 Misrepresentation and Deceptive Practices


You may not generate applications designed to:

• Impersonate individuals or organizations
• Spread misinformation
• Conduct deceptive automated interactions
• Manipulate public opinion unlawfully

• Defame another person or organization


3.9 Child Exploitation


Any attempt to generate content related to:

• Child exploitation
• Abuse material
• Grooming tools

is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.


4. HIGH-RISK USE RESTRICTIONS


The following uses are strongly restricted and may require additional safeguards or approvals:


4.1 Financial Automation


Applications involving:

• Trading automation
• Investment decision systems
• Cryptocurrency management

must include clear user disclosures and comply with financial regulations. There may now or in the future be additional provincial and / or federal guidelines or rules in place regarding AI model usage in financial sectors, or rules and regulations involving cryptocurrency. You understand it is your sole responsibility to ensure compliance with present and future laws in this workspace, and that Kable is not responsible for trading, market, or investment advice and / or financial management systems generated through the Service.


4.2 Personal Data Processing Apps


Users must ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws when creating apps that handle personal data.


4.3 Autonomous Decision Systems


Apps that make automated decisions affecting individuals must include transparency and human oversight mechanisms.


5. THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS


Users are responsible for compliance with terms of any third-party services integrated into generated applications.


6. MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT


Kable may monitor usage patterns and may investigate suspected violations.

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend accounts
• Terminate access
• Remove generated content
• Report unlawful activity to authorities

without prior notice.


You understand that you have an obligation under this policy to cooperate with Kable, and / or law enforcement, regarding any suspected violations.


7. USER LIABILITY


Users are solely liable for:

• Any damages caused by generated applications
• Legal consequences of misuse
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations


Kable assumes no responsibility for user-generated software, and you as the user agree to indemnify and save harmless Kable, its directors, and assigns, from any liability arising from the misuse or unlawful use of the Service, including any legal costs incurred by Kable in defending such claims.


8. REPORTING VIOLATIONS


Violations of this Policy may be reported to:

9. POLICY UPDATES


We may update this Policy periodically.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. You understand that it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with updates to the policy as a condition for continued use of the Service.


10. RELATIONSHIP TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS


This Policy supplements and does not replace the Spanner Terms and Conditions. In the event of conflict, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.


11. Distribution of User-Generated Applications

Users may not create or distribute applications that:

• Collect personal data without proper disclosure
• Engage in fraud, scams, or deception
• Contain malware or harmful code
• Misrepresent their purpose
• Violate intellectual property rights

Kable reserves the right to restrict sharing features for any account that violates this Policy and to take any such further action as it may deem necessary in the circumstances to prevent further misuse.
